Hi friend,
Funny how we celebrate a fresh start in January, but emails still roll straight into meetings.
Meetings blur into tasks.
Slack pings pile on.
Nothing really ends.
Because work doesn’t stay at work.
There’s no in-between. Here’s how to get that back.

Create The In-Between
This week, we want to introduce tapping.
The basic idea is simple. You tap on certain meridian points. The same ones used in acupuncture. Doing that while focusing on specific emotions or thoughts can help you feel more at ease, kind of like hitting a reset button.
Think of it as creating a real in-between, a moment where your nervous system can have a break one thing can land before the next thing starts.
If you’re curious, we created a Free Tapping Card in the Something To Save section below, so you can tap whenever you need a moment.
💡 How This Helps
As we mentioned, stress doesn’t just come from doing all the things.
It comes from never getting a break between everything.
In positive psychology and stress science, this is called recovery between effort.
Your nervous system isn’t designed to stay “on” nonstop.
It needs small signals that something has ended so it can stand down, even briefly.
Modern life doesn’t care.
So, your body stays in effort mode, even when a task is technically over.
Tapping helps by adding back a physical ending.
Research shows that tapping, also known as EFT, can reduce cortisol levels, ease anxiety, and help regulate the nervous system. It combines physical touch with mindful attention, creating a powerful signal of safety and closure for the body and brain.
You’re helping your system step out of effort, even for a moment, before the next thing begins.
